The Ragnar Skanåker 100 Points Australian Open

Featuring 50 m Pistol and 50m Rifle Prone

On December 20 1986, Ragnar Skanåker, the 1972 Olympic Gold Medallist, visited the Melbourne International Shooting Club (MISC) and shot a perfect 100 series in 50m Free Pistol.

To celebrate this achievement and recognise the international friendship amongst shooters,
MISC is proudly inviting you to a 50m Pistol and 50m Rifle Prone competition on our SIUS electronic range.

This will be a fun event in a relaxed atmosphere where you, in between qualifications and finals, will be able to mingle with fellow shooters, enjoy a BBQ lunch and other refreshments. Style points may be awarded if you dress in a distinct Swedish way.

Start time: 10am, finals after lunch

Registration: entry form submitted by 30 November. Entries will be processed in order of receipt, up to range capacity.

Format: Q round followed by finals

Rules: ISSF/PA/TRA for 50m EST

Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three positions in the finals. A special prize will be awarded to anyone who shoots a perfect 100 points series in th e50m Pistol event

Cost: $15 per athlete including BBQ lunch
