RANGE CLOSURE SOCIAL SHOOT

3.00PM on 20th JUNE 2015

As you will be aware the Hawthorn range closes its doors on the 30th June 2015 after 100 years in the area.

While there is no reason to celebrate there is a need to make the most of our final days at the range and therefore the Committee wishes to invite you to a final shoot and break-up party at the Clubhouse, on the afternoon of Saturday the 20th June from 3.00 PM onwards.

As this will be the last opportunity to hold such a social shoot at our range we ask that you all come along with your family and friends and make it a very special event.

We plan to follow our usual Christmas shoot format and ask that you please bring a plate of food to share, something to drink and a ‘gift’ to the value of around $10.00, to be used as a trophy for the fun shoot. This will be the popular standing shoot, with a sporting .22 rifle, at a ‘crow’ silhouette paper target. Each shooter then receives a ‘trophy’ selected from the gifts in order of the finishing scores, so please bring a gift and win a gift.

For those who do not have a sporting .22 rifle one will be made available.

The Hawthorn range has been an important part of our lives for a long time so we look forward to seeing you there to give it a good farewell.
